I know Sony wants to make their product, the Playstation Move seem beter then the wii and Kinect but this is just dumb.

1. Sony says their motion controller is better then the kinect because it measures 6-axis, excuse me, the kinect uses your body…
2. Sony has more Buttons, again Sony kinect uses your body…
3. Sony’s colour changing sphere is better then the feed back of kinect, you can see yourself on tv with the kinect what feedback do you need?
4. Sony has built in rechargeable batteries, again… Kinect uses your body not remote, the Move still needs to connect to the PS3 via wire like Kinect
5. You cant say Sony is better then other companies when they have the same feature.. like a camera, Augmented Reality, Image Capture, head tracking, Microphones on camera, Voice command, Voice recognition the Kinect has all of these and does it better
6. it is true that the Kinect does not have a secondary controller but remember… it uses your body, I am sure you can plug in your regular xbox360 controller if needed
7. Same answer to point 6 for the wireless controller and built in rechargeable batteries.
8. Resolution:  it is true that PS3 plays on blueray, but xbox360 does 1080p just like the PS3…

My dream

Last night i had a dream that i got hired by  Gawker media to be a blogger and Josh Matejczyk decided that he will come with and told them that he had a job too because we were a package deal.

they ended up saying “well, we can’t argue with that logic” and gave him a job too…

Thomas Malthus: theory of population

Ever since my Sophmore year taking history of economic thought i have wanted to read more into Thomas Malthus and his theory of population.  I think i might even look into taking an independent study this summer and write a research paper on the theorist.

expelled: no intelligence allowed

I just got my Netflix subscription and decided to watch expelled: no intelligence allowed.  its actually a pretty good documentary about how intelligent design will not even be considered as a topic of discussion in todays universities.
