Why does everyone think that Steve Jobs is a god? When hes going in for a routine doctor visit the stock price of apple falls. Would talking to his doctor be considered insider trading?
I’ll admit he has some good ideas, but then hes not the one that makes it work or practical. thousands of developers and programmers, engineers all do this.
Anyone ever heard of the apple Lisa?
It was one of Steves bright ideas which ultimately failed. “The Apple Lisa turned out to be a commercial failure for Apple, the largest since the Apple III disaster of 1980.” it failed because businesses started to use cheaper IBM computers instead. Basically the only other big organization that used the LISA was NASA, probably because they didn’t have budget restrictions. Remember all of the NASA failures in the 80s? im not blaming Steve Jobs or Apple for it but it happened around the same time frame.
From what ive been able to tell, Apple takes an ordinary product, makes it look pretty, and then jacks up the price 200% and state its “revolutionary” or that it will “Change the world” does it really?
lets take the ipad, I wont go on a rant about how i disagree with it, but instead i point you to the Majestic Doctrine. Its basically a giant ipod, took an old idea recycled it and now have people believing that its the greatest thing ever and will eliminate ALL LAPTOPS EVER!
What about Eric E. Schmidt? he has been the CEO of Google Since 2001 and has taken the company from being a search engine all the way to making Google docs, gmail, Gcal, google blogs, google reader, google chrome internet browser, and now Chromium OS and their own hardware. if you ask me thats revolutionary. not a big oversized ipod.
So in Conclusion, Steve Jobs is not a GOD stop acting like it.
